Imagine you can go anywhere in the world that you want to go. Where would you go? What would you do? Having all the time in the world, with all resources at your disposal, what would you want do?
These are the questions I ask myself on a daily basis. The world is our oyster, and the sights and sounds of the places I want to see are out there to be explored. But for what purpose and for what reason?
For me to feel fulfilled in life, I have to find a way to give back. Find a way to make a difference in the lives of others. This is how I feel most satisfied in utilizing the most recent time which has passed. Going about the day simply absorbing social media content, or watching television all the time leaves me filled with guilt, regret and remorse. In moderation, those leisure activities are not of an issue, but when doing so for hours upon hours every single day, that’s when the regret begins to settle once the dust has been cleared. Especially when I have still much work to do in order to live the life I desire to experience in reality, I mustn’t waste the days doing counter-productive tasks which don’t lead me closer to fulfilling the goals which will bring me closer to “the high life” (aka, the highest form of myself).
